Our Mission
The Seafarers Foundation empowers and supports under-served youth, families, and seniors through educational services, water safety instructions, maritime experiences, and community care, thus building confidence, reducing drowning rates, and improving quality of life across generations.

"When we took the participants in our Summer Youth Program to sail on the Schooner Woodwinds in downtown Annapolis, it was absolutely amazing to see the transformation. They started off somewhat apprehensive of the huge sailboat, but after spending time with Captain Ken and his knowledgable crew, taking the helm, and becoming comfortable on deck, our participants were energized and wanted to return."
